Michele Richard’s unique action learning and comprehensive consulting approach is a direct result of her experience as a Firefighter and Captain.   She gained extensive training background as a fire service instructor. She was the first woman in her fire department.  She was also the first woman to receive a Medal of Honor for an act of heroism.  She responded to a fire carrying out three people along with her firefighting team of four.

The FIRST IN emergency approach to training reflects Michele’s action approach and sets up situations where participants have to act.  Her training makes sure participants know the right actions to take in real emergencies with a team and if necessary individually.

Michele launchedFIRST IN Emergency Response Training, LLC to make a contribution to industry after retiring from public service.   She brings her preference for action and high energy to sharing her ER skills.  The company is building its client list in training and consulting with companies including Oracle, Tesla, Genentech, Ebay,  and Western Digital Corporations to name a few.
