Is there a minimum or maximum number of employees needed for FIRST IN to conduct a training?
We can speak to an unlimited number of employees in a lecture format. However, very few of our classes are lecture only. The majority are a combination of lecture, demonstration and hands-on application. In this scenario, the number of students is based on a maximum12:1 student/instructor ratio. The more students, the more instructors are needed to ensure safety and skills assessment.

Will my company or employees receive a third-party certificate when a training is completed?
Some hazardous materials classes are certified through California Specialized Training Institute. Other classes such as CPR, First Aid, Automated External Defibrillator, Emergency Oxygen and Bloodborne Pathogen are certified through Medic First Aid International.

Will my employees get a certification from FIRST IN?
We offer certificates for course completion on all other classes through FIRST IN Emergency Response Training, such as Fire Safety and Extinguisher, Incident Command, and Advanced First Aid.

How do I know if any of the certifications are mandatory for my company?
We can conduct a safety assessment based on your type of business. Then we can give you any Cal/OSHA requirements or best practices recommendations.

Who is required to meet The OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard?
All employees who could be "reasonably expected" to come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) while performing their assigned job duties. This specifically relates to emergency response team members who might come in contact with bodily fluids during a medical emergency.

Are you certified Hazardous Materials Instructors

Can you help our company with compliance issues?
